Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick: Statement on the Passage of Senate Bill 14



 

AUSTIN – Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick issued this statement today following the passage of Senate Bill 14, the Business Freedom and Uniformity Act, by Sen. Brandon Creighton, R-Conroe:

“I congratulate Sen. Creighton and the Texas Senate on the passage of Senate Bill 14. A rational and predictable regulatory environment, along with low taxes and lawsuit reform, have made the Texas economy one of the strongest in the nation and a force in the global economy. Senate Bill 14 will make sure that Texas businesses can continue to thrive without being unnecessarily hampered at any level. This legislation will help ensure that Texas businesses can continue to grow, expand and create jobs so every Texan can prosper.”
